Lester Eugene Taylor , “Gene”, 89, passed away peacefully and is now united with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mr. Taylor’s homegoing service will be at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Pink Hill Funeral Home, with visitation to follow.

KPD's Violent Crime Action Team heard several gunshots coming from Richard Green Apartments. Detectives arrived on scene and encountered Deante Best. During the encounter Best was placed under arrest for Felony Carrying a Concealed Gun.
