She achieved a career milestone in 2017 as a soloist in the world premiere of Hyo-Won Woo’s Requiem aeternam with the Sistine Chapel Choir. She has also participated in esteemed young artist programs, such as the Aspen Music School and Festival and the Le Chiavi Institute of Bel Canto Studies.
Currently residing in Charlotte, Freeman is the Music Department Chair at Central Piedmont Community College, where she also serves on the voice faculty. She lives with her husband and son and continues to inspire audiences with her artistry.
