The Lenoir County Soil and Water Conservation District deals with urban and agricultural issues. Issues like water quality, non point water pollution and soil erosion. Leadership and the love of conservation is what makes a conservation district function.

Keith Tyson, a Lenoir County farmer, has the qualities of both. As Vice-Chairman of the district he led Lenoir County in being one of top districts in the State for the past four years. We need people like Keith to make Lenoir County a better place to live.
