Jayden Carr, South Lenoir, football
Carr helped the Blue Devils break an eight-game losing streak to North Lenoir with a 46-14 victory Monday in the Braggin’ Bowl. The senior carried the ball 29 times for 237 yards and four touchdowns as South Lenoir scored the most points against its biggest rival in school history.

The reason this moment was great to him: it was his last chance to compete against North Lenoir and he wanted to go out in style
Gabby Carriere, Arendell Parrott, volleyball
Carriere played an instrumental role in the Patriots winning their first championship in school history, winning in five sets over Caldwell Academy on Oct. 28. The senior had 19 service points, 12 digs and four kills, along with two service aces to end the match.
