Local firemen honored at Annual Fireman's Day

Hugo Volunteer Fire & Rescue’s Annual Fireman’’s Day was held on October 6th. They had a bake sale, tractor show, bouncy house, fire truck rides, and lots of family fun. The highlight of the event was the awards ceremony. Each year Hugo honors its fellow firemen. This year’s winners are:

Rookie of the Year - Luke Baird

Firefighter of the Year - Greg Johnson

Honorary Member - Alonza Gray

Officer of the Year - Jimmy Ingram

Junior Firefighter of the Year - Alysa McLawhorn

Junior Firefighter of the Year - Logan Dixon

This annual event supports Station One on Hugo Road.
