Kickstart Kinston to have first meeting Tuesday

A new program to assist entrepreneurs will kick off Tuesday.

Kickstart Kinston will commence Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Council for the Arts on N. Queen Street. Kickstart Kinston, sponsored by Pride of Kinston and N.C. Rural Center, is a business resource program out to assist existing entrepreneurs in expanding their business and future entrepreneurs looking for support in starting one.

"This is something we came up with to assist small businesses in the city," Kinston Community Development Planner Tatiana Height said. "Kickstart Kinston will look to help those small business owners who want to get their businesses going and have success."
