The following restaurant inspections were conducted by the Lenoir County Health Department:

Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehab

Inspection date: 7/5/18
Observations:
Employee sneezed and continued working without washing hands;
Some dishes had food residue on them;
Ham in walk-in (refrigerator) was 56F - must be at or below 45F;
Meat thawing in sink did not have running water over it and was 70F - should not go above 45F during the thawing process;
Several flies in kitchen;
Wet wiping cloths laying on carts and tables - must be kept in sanitizer between uses;
Floors, walls and ceilings need additional cleaning;
Cracked tiles need to be repaired;

Sanitizer in spray bottle was too strong;
Hot dog and pizzas were less than 135F - must be at or above 135F;

Person in charge does not know proper food handling;
Children in kitchen at time of inspection;
Employee did not wash hands upon entering kitchen or when changing tasks;
Hand-sinks in kitchen and restroom did not have hand towels available;
Employee did not know steps to dish washing;
Cabbage and curry goat was less than 135F - must be 135F or better;
Chicken, cheese, oxtail, and rice in walk-in were not date marked;
Oxtail in walk-in had mold on it;
Wet wiping cloths laying on drain boards;
Sanitizer water in wiping cloth bucket was soiled - repeat violation;
Dirty take-out trays stored under well;
Rusty shelving needs to be repaired;
Dishes were being washed in two-compartment prep sink - must be washed in three-compartment dish sink;
