A new organization is looking to assist budding high school graduates in Lenoir and Pitt County.

Pacesetterz Inc. will hold a scholarship fundraiser Saturday at Fairfield Park from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to the public with raffles and games available.

Pacesetterz founder Selena Parker said the goal is to raise awareness of the organization while trying to award students with scholarships, senior dues fees, cap and gown fees and more.

“We’re hoping to assist high schoolers and want to bring awareness to the community,” Parker said. “We’ll be selling hot dogs and hamburgers, have music playing, recruiters from the National Guard, and just have a presence in the area. Hopefully, we can get high school juniors and seniors out to register.”

For additional information and to send donations, contact Parker at 678-469-0920 or email pacesetterzinc@gmail.com.
