What's at the Farmer's Market?
New this week....bronze grapes, purple grapes and peanuts! Still available....watermelon, sweet potatoes, collards, kale, cantaloupe, peas, string beans, bell peppers, squash, zucchini, onions, different kinds of greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, okra, watermelon, jams, dressings, pickled items and of course, free range eggs, local honey, pork skins and rinds.
You will notice that the list is becoming shorter because the crops are between seasons, but never fear, fall produce will soon be here. Sharp head cabbage, mustard, and hen peck salad is on the way in about 3 weeks!
