Manley Eugene “Gene” Wilson, 73, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. Gene was born September 14, 1945, in Lenoir County to the late Ben Wilson and Therian Mallard Wilson. Gene proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked many years with Carolina Telephone as a service technician.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery.

Gene is survived by his brother, Jack Wilson and wife, Angie; along with an aunt, Audrey Carter and her daughter, Celeste.
