Around Town: Casino Night a huge success for LCC Foundation
From left, former Kinston Mayor O.A. “Buddy” Ritch, Jenny Edmondson and Kinston First Lady Angela Hardy — the wife of current Kinston Mayor Don Hardy — enjoy a hand of blackjack at the LCC Foundation’s annual Casino Night. The event was attended by more than 250 people and raised thousands of dollars for scholarships, said Foundation Executive Director Jeanne Kennedy. “It was a great event for our scholarship program,” Kennedy said. “Thanks to our sponsors and everybody who came out and played with us.”
