What's at the Farmer's Market?

There will be strawberries and asparagus at the market today. Also, there will be sweet potatoes, kale, rutabagas and turnips. TJ Designs will be there with her handmade wreaths and crafts. Rodney, the pork skin man, will be in his booth selling pork skins, pork rinds and fried peanuts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If you are on the Keto Diet, these snacks are meant for you. They are also delicious with oysters, crumbled on baked potatoes and on salads.Come down on Saturday between 8 and 2 to celebrate the beginning of spring.

All sales will be from the greenhouse at the Extension Office this year.

April 27 - HomeGrown Event - Radio Station WSFL and Radio Joe will be broadcasting from our market...a special day with bands and extra vendors and food trucks more exciting info to follow.

Update on kitchen in Rick Holder Annex.

The plumbing pipes are installed in the trenches that were dug during the past several weeks, and the building inspector has given his ok. Now the concrete floor is being poured, and soon the contractor can begin to put up the walls. Then we can really see that progress is being made. REMEMBER....PATIENCE and PROGRESS are the key words !!!  It will be worth the wait!
