LCPS honors 2019 graduates
2019 Honor Graduates
LCPS high schools honored 88 members of the Class of 2019 for academic achievement during recent graduations. The district’s three traditional high schools designate Latin honor as follows: Summa Cum Laude, top 2% of the graduating class; Magna Cum Laude, top 3-5% of the graduating class; and Cum Laude, top 6-10% of the graduating class. Because of its small class size, Lenoir County Early College High School awards honors on this basis: Summa Cum Laude, 4.00-5.00 GPA; Magna Cum Laude, 3.70-3.99 GPA; and Cum Laude, 3.50-3.69 GPA.
