Downtown Kinston has a new restaurant.
Located on North Street, owners of the Laughing Owl restaurant hopes to entice new clientele with a wide selection of Asian food. Neo Rivera, owner of The Laughing Owl, is proud to be a part of the Kinston community.
The company wanted to expand by opening their second location, this time in Kinston. With their first restaurant in Goldsboro, established in 2016, they have high hopes to duplicate their success in Lenoir County.
The grand opening will be Wednesday by reservation.
“We offer a family environment with something for everyone,” Peter Pun, manager of The Laughing Owl, said. “We have Asian food, American food, and even pizza to accommodate everyone’s preferences.”
The Laughing Owl is at 108 W. North Street in Kinston; its hours are as follows:
Sunday: Closed
Monday-Friday: Lunch (11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.), dinner (4:30-9:30 p.m.)
Saturday - Dinner (4:30-10:30 p.m.)
On Friday evenings, there will be live music with specials the owners hope will bring in new customers and keep current ones returning.
They are always looking for the right candidates to work for them.
“This has been the best opportunity of my life,” manager Mickey Rivera said.
Interested candidates can stop in and request an application.
