LCC offering several short-term classes in August and September.

  • Learn how to create apps for your iPhone or iPad! Two classes will be offered. Starting Aug. 19, one class meets once a month on Mondays for 16 weeks and the other class is completely online starting Aug. 26 for 16 weeks.  Cost is $185.

  • Intermediate Excel starts Aug. 21 on Wednesdays 6-9 p.m. for eight weeks. Cost $75.

  • Mastering Microsoft Word starts Aug. 21 on Wednesdays 6-9 p.m. for eight weeks. Cost $75.

  • Digital Photography will be offered Aug. 28, 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays for eight weeks.  Cost is $75.

  • Bonsai for Beginners is offered Aug. G 20 and 22 from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $30.

  • Proper Pruning will be offered August 24 from 9am- 4pm and August 27 and 29 from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $30

  • Effective Teacher Training (to become a Substitute Teacher) will be held August 12 through 21 from 5 pm to 9pm. Cost is $75.

  • NC Fast Phase I – Intro to Social Services begins September 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Cost is $125. Tuition is waived if student is unemployed or underemployed.

  • Working Smart will be offered August 26 through 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuition is waived if unemployed or underemployed.

  • Digital Teacher Training will be offered online to help teachers earn their digital CEU’s. It runs every month for 4 weeks with the next class starting September 9. Cost is $75.

  • Upcoming TNT classes for August include: Organize Your Computer on August 13. This workshop runs 5:30-8:30 pm and the cost is $25. 

  • Adobe Photoshop will start August 26 and will run on Mondays for 8 weeks from 6-9pm. The cost is $75.

  • Workplace Computers Basics will start September 9 and will run for 10 weeks on Mondays, 6-9pm. The registration fee is waived if you are unemployed or underemployed.

  • Career Readiness Certification prep course is offered online every  month and the registration fee is waived if student is unemployed or underemployed. 

  • There is a Career Ready Lab available for online job search and applications and resume assistance. The registration fee is waived if you are unemployed or underemployed. Lab hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-3pm and Friday 8am-12pm.
