Open Auditions at LCC

Open Auditions for Lenoir Community College’s Arts and Sciences’ production of The Vagina Monologues are coming up!

Become a part of this groundbreaking and revolutionary production that has raised millions of dollars around the world to end violence against women and children. LCC’s production will be donating all of its proceeds. Donations will be made to Kinston’s Women Center, and two LCC scholarships: Women in Education and the Fine Arts Department.

Auditions will be held on two separate dates- you only need to come to one audition. No preparation will be necessary; however, if you would like to audition for a particular monologue, please be prepared to identify it. Actors can audition for as many monologues as they wish.

AUDITION DATES/LOCATION:
Thursday, October 3, at 1:00 pm – LCC Culinary Arts Center 

Saturday, October 5, at 10:00 am – LCC Administration Auditorium

Guidelines for auditions: No acting experience is required. 

Monologues do not have to be memorized. We will have each monologue printed and will ask you to identify which monologues you are interested in and willing to perform.

Performance Date Information:

Rehearsals: will occur monthly/bimonthly as works with cast. 

Dress Rehearsals: February 1, 4, 5, 2020

Performances February 6, 7, and 8, 2020
