Michael Webb, Ayden-Grifton, football

Webb did a bit of everything for the Chargers in wins over Chocowinity Southside and Pamlico County. The senior scored on a kickoff return and had a rushing touchdown in a 20-0 win over the Seahawks, then followed with two rushing TDs in a 48-8 victory over the Hurricanes. Webb also had interceptions in each game.

Jessica Harris, South Lenoir, volleyball

Harris helped set up the Blue Devils’ two straight-set road victories last week. The senior registered 16 assists against Wallace-Rose Hill on Aug. 27 and followed with 24 in a contest with Rosewood two days later.
