LCC announces Fall Academic All-Region athletes nominees

Academic All-Region honors nominees are pictured left to right: Faith Stroud of Kinston, sophomore, Horticulture Technology and Associate in Science, Lady Lancers Women’s Basketball team member, Courtney Powers of Winterville, freshman, Associate in Arts, Lady Lancers Volleyball team member, Haleigh Cook-Watt of Jacksonville, freshman, Associate in Science; , Jordan Cannon of Ayden, freshman, Criminal Justice Technology; ; Kari Drake of Goldsboro, freshman, Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology; Noelle Corwin of Kinston, freshman, Cosmetology, and Toree Marak of Goldsboro, sophomore, Cosmetology.

Seven Lenoir Community College student athletes for recently recognized for excelling academically during the Fall semester and were nominated for Academic All-Region honors. Recipients had to pass a minimum of 12 credit hours with at least a 3.00 GPA, developmental courses could not be used in determining GPA, and the student-athlete must have participated during the semester in which they were recognized.
