Man charged with attempted First Degree Murder in connection with the shooting of Khalil Dail

On October 27, 2020 at 9:30 p.m. Officers of the Kinston Police Department arrested Deonko Hayes Brewer Jr. of Kinston N.C. The 19 year old was charged with Attempted First Degree Murder in connection with the shooting of Khalil Dail earlier that day in the parking lot of 4151 W. Vernon Avenue.

Mr. Brewer was confined to the Lenoir County Jail under a $1,000,000.00 secured bond. This investigation is still ongoing.
