The 2020 Miss Neuse Scholarship Pageant sponsored by Hugo Fire and Rescue will be held February 22, 2020 at Kinston Lenoir County Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:00pm. Reid Taylor will serve as director for the for the 41st year. Mandy Odom is the choreographer and Diane Howard serves as the Pageant Chairperson.
Michelle Johnson Braxton will emcee the program and the twelve young ladies will be competing in the following area of competition: Interview which counts 30%, Creative Expression 15%, Talent 40% and Gown 15%. Scholarship monies in the amount of $6,000 will be awarded.
Tickets are $20. For reserved seating or $15. General admission can be purchased from any contestant. Tickets will be $20 at the door.
Miss Neuse 2019, Michaela Rose Williams will relinquish her title at the event. Michaela is the daughter of Michael and Shannon Williams. She is a Junior at North Lenoir High School.
Special entertainment will be provided by Anna Hull, 2019 Distinguished Young Woman, Michelle Braxton Johnson, Miss Neuse Dancers, Miss Neuse Michaela Williams, Steven and Samantha Warren. Twelve contestants are competing for the title of Miss Neuse 2020.
