Family Dollar robbed - suspect flees on foot

According to the Kinston Police Department on 02/07/2020 at 7:56 a.m., Kinston Police responded to a reported Robbery at Family Dollar located at 608 N McLewean St Kinston, NC. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with staff who advised an unknown B/M in his mid-twenties wearing a black hoodie came in the store and displayed a firearm while demanding money from the sales clerk.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and no injuries were reported from the store. An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery. Officers are asking for anyone who may have any information about this incident to please contact the Kinston Police Department.
