Lenoir Community College gives update to students
Students,
Lenoir Community College understands this is an uncertain time for everyone. In an effort to afford you with the opportunity to continue your education and complete your courses, we will be transitioning a large portion of our curriculum seated courses (TR, WB, and HY Formats) to an online format in Moodle for the spring 2020 semester, effective March 30. Your instructor will be contacting you regarding your classes.
Courses that were already being delivered in an online format this semester (IN, LIN) will resume March 23. Students in these courses will be permitted to make up missed time online with specific details from your instructor in Moodle.
To accommodate the critical need for public safety and public health services, the College will continue these courses as detailed below. Faculty will contact each student with specific details.
Nursing (ADN, PN, NA), Surgical Technology, Radiography
March 23 – clinicals resume
March 30 – classes resume
Polysomnography, Medical Assisting
March 30 – all classes will be delivered in an online format in Moodle

Some of our courses require clinical and lab hours and proctored testing that cannot be delivered in an online learning environment. For these courses, additional instructions will be provided by your instructor in Moodle. If the hours are unable to be met by the end of the spring semester, the course will be extended to allow all students the opportunity to complete the course. Please await further details from your instructor if this applies to your course.
