10 Greene County residents now test positive for COVID-19

Snow Hill, NC – Greene County has 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020. Out of the 10 lab-confirmed positive cases, three of those individuals have recovered, are doing well, and are out of isolation. 

• 1,210,956 confirmed cases globally; 67,594 deaths 

• United States: 330,891 confirmed cases; 8,910 deaths 

• NC has confirmed 2,870 cases of COVID-19 and 33 deaths across 89 counties* 

o NC Completed Tests = 40,726 o Currently Hospitalized = 270 * Last updated 11:00 a.m., April 6, 2020 

Greene County is continuing to monitor the situation and its impact on our community. New information will be shared on Tuesday morning, if necessary. 

Residents who feel they are symptomatic and in need of testing, need to call their primary care provider ahead of time in order to receive instructions on how to proceed.
