For the sixth consecutive year, Parrott Academy’s Patriot yearbook won a Gold Medal in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association national competition.  And for the fourth consecutive year, the Patriot won the All-North Carolina rating from the NC Scholastic Media Association, one of only ten yearbooks in the state to receive this honor.

2020 staff members were Alex Melk, Emily Sydes, Caleb Allen, Kareem Almasri, Grace Brydge, Will Farrior, Nick Harrison, Adelyn Lowry, Elyse Measamer, Collins Moore, Anna Scott Radford, Lauryn Singleton, and John Stocks.  Business staff members were Allison Christiano, Megan Blair, Tyler Aliff, and Devin Genereux.

Yearbook adviser Melissa Lambert helped students bring to life their innovative theme, “Blink” which focused on how quickly life changes.  After the COVID-19 pandemic erupted, the yearbook included a special section reflecting on the unprecedented changes students faced.
