Clifton Earl Rouse, Jr., 67, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm at Westview Cemetery.

Clifton was born on March 14, 1953, and was a native of Lenoir County. He was an avid sports fan. Coaching and keeping stats were some of his favorite pastimes. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Clifton also loved the Lord and his church family. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Earl Rouse, Sr. and Magnolia Parrish Rouse; and brothers, Walter and Seth West. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Coley Rouse; sons, Chris Soles and wife, Diana, and Cliff Rouse and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Brody and Harper Soles, Reagan, Ella, and Emma Rouse; two sisters, Pauline Stroud and Maggie Hawkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
