Kinston Police: Two arrested in recent case of vehicle break-ins

On October 14, 2021, officers from the Kinston Police Department were dispatched to 405 East New Bern Road in reference to breaking and entering into (4) vehicles. The investigation led officers to a residence on Darden Drive. Officers executed a search warrant for the residence and recovered stolen items from the (4) vehicles. Officers arrested Mellissa Green for Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts and Felony Possession of Stolen Property. Warrants have been taken out for Rusty Taylor of Kinston for Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts Felony Possession of Stolen Property.
