New Business in Kinston, Three Little Lambs

Her name is Mary and she has three little lambs. Mary Kelley of Kinston has opened an upscale consignment and embroidery storefront at 118 W. North Street called Three Little Lambs.

Kelley chose the location on North Street because “The square footage was great and it’s right across the street from Mother Earth.”

The brands that Kelley has available for embroidery are Garden Folly Fine Linens, Mint Bags and accessories, TRVL Designs, and Royal Collection. She has linens, cups, napkins, and other items for embroidery.

Kelley takes items for consignment during store hours, or by appointment. She will review the items to decide what she’ll accept and the payout is a 50/50 split once the item sells.

In addition to consignment, Kelley will also offer a build a doll wall. Customers can choose the fabric, clothing, and hair of the doll.

Three Little Lambs had a grand opening on Saturday.

As Kelley balances between being a mother of three and a business owner, her hours of operation are flexible. Currently, she’s open Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Fridays from 10:00 to 5:00 pm, Saturdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Monday through Wednesday is by appointment.

On Saturday, October 23, 2021, there will be a Fall Photo Shoot with Katie Black Photography from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The cost is $25 and participants will receive the digital prints.

Starting in November, Kelley will host Mommy and Me mornings which will include a craft and a snack.

“It’s an opportunity for moms in the area to get together and do an activity with their young toddler and preschool-aged children,” said Kelley.
