Greene Early College senior awarded the 2021 Youth Governor's Volunteer Service Award

Greene Early College senior, Dorien Sutton, has been awarded the 2021 Youth Governor’s Volunteer Service Award for Greene County.  His outstanding service and commitment to the Walstonburg Fire Department and the surrounding community earned this recognition. In addition,  Dorien is completing his service project for his Eagle Scout rank(June 2021) by building raised plant beds for Greene County’s Pre-k center as well as tutoring at GEC with the Americorps program.
