Kinston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority hosts book review, meet the author event

The Kinston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. hosted a book review and meet the author event in recognition of April being National Autism Month.  The Book titled, “This is Me: I Am Who I Am” was written by LaKeysha Moore, mother of a son diagnosed with autism.  The book is illustrated and describes the day to day struggle of her son as her family fights against autism. It is dedicated to all of the families who have children with autism, disabilities, and vitiligo.

Ms. Moore is a member of the Kinston Chapter.  Karen Hodges, Chairperson along with the Arts and Letters Committee organized this event via Zoom. Books are available through the author or can be ordered through Amazon.
