Lenoir County Sheriff's Office makes drug arrest

On July 21, 2021, Joshua Zachariah Allen Lane of Kinston, North Carolina was arrested, pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit. During the investigation Detectives made multiple controlled purchases of crystal methamphetamine from Lane in the Lenoir County area. Detectives seized just over four ounces of crystal methamphetamine during the investigation.

As a result of this investigation, Lane was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and one count of Possession with intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance.

LANE was given a total secured bond of $250,000.00 and placed in the W.E. Billy Smith Detention Facility
