Greene County Sheriff's Office: Arrest made on trailer larceny

The following was posted on Greene County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page:

On Tuesday, 10-11-2022 the Greene County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Grays Mill Rd in reference to a report of a stolen utility trailer. The reporting party saw a black Chevrolet Avalanche driving away from the residence with the trailer, going towards Lenoir County.

The following day, 10-12-2022, Capt. Brad Conwell followed up on an anonymous tip and located 33 year old Tony Hunt of Fremont, driving the Avalanche along with the reported stolen trailer in Lenoir County. Hunt was arrested and charged him with Felony Larceny. Hunt received a $10,000 secured bond.
