Obituary: John David Taylor, Jr.

John David Taylor, Jr., 75, of Kinston, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. He was preceded in death by his parents, John David Taylor, Sr. and Edna Hinson Taylor.

John was a member of Airy Grove Christian Church. He worked at Bojangles for several years and retired from Neuse Enterprises in 2010.

He is survived by his guardians, Coleman and Donna Rodwell, special friends, Tommy and Mary Fondren, extended family, and his Airy Grove Christian Church Family.

His family would like to thank all of the staff and caregivers of Live Oak Apartments, Spring Arbor Assisted Living, and Harmony Hall Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care of John throughout his time there.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery in Kinston.
