KPD: Civilian involved collision injures one
On February 17, 2022, at 6:46pm Kinston Police officers were called to a motor vehicle accident on South Queen Street near Shine Street. Officers determined a vehicle which was traveling north on Queen Street, driven by Keith Martin, 63 of Kinston was attempting to turn left onto Shine Street. Mr. Martin’s vehicle had struck Reggie Fordham, 63 also of Kinston. Mr. Fordham was attempting to cross Queen Street and was in the turn lane at the time of the accident occurred. Mr. Fordham was transported to Vidant Hospital and is currently in serious condition. No charges have been filed at this time.
