Hawk's nest closed after seven years

Hawk’s Nest owner Judy Johnson posted the following on Facebook to announce the closing of the restaurant Hawk’s Nest located at 100 S Queen Street in Kinston.

“Hawk’s Nest is currently closed. I am finishing up some prearranged orders but am not taking any new orders at this time. While this was a tough decision, I can’t run a restaurant by myself. I also have taken custody of my 12 and 13 year old niece and nephew and that is where my attention must focus. Thank you for your support. It has been an honor and pleasure to meet and serve all of you over the past 7 years.”
