Help wanted: Lenoir County Health Department - Medical Lab Technicians
Salary Range: $39,982 - $59,354
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the medical technician, coordinate lab services to all clinic areas, and to provide quality laboratory testing. This position will also ensure CLIA guidelines are met with any needed laboratory changes initiated in a timely manner.
Minimum Education and Experience: Graduate from a four (4) year college or university with a degree in medical technology, chemistry, or a biological science; or graduate from an associate degree program of medical technology and one (l) year of medical laboratory experience; or completion of a certified laboratory assistant course in medical technology or a comparable course and two (2) years of medical laboratory experience; or graduate from high school and four (4) years of applicable medical laboratory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
