Parrott singers perform at festival

Three Parrott Academy middle school chorus students attended the University of Mount Olive’s 68th Honor Choir Festival on March 3rd. Arianna Aviles, Blaney Blizzard, and Zina Mozie participated in the day-long event with their chorus teacher Lisa Duke.  

Select students from around the region joined in a series of rehearsals and performed with the UMO choir students and faculty in a final festival concert that featured 126 singers. “Our students improved their technique and musicality, and enjoyed the variety of songs we learned,” commented Mrs. Duke.
