GEC trio earned degrees
Greene Early College classmates and alumni(2019) completed their degrees at Appalachian State University. The formal ceremony to confer the degrees was held May 7 on the Boone campus. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Carolina Avila -Tovar graduated with her Exercise Science Degree.
Karen Meza also graduated with her Exercise Science Degree. She has begun additional studies in the health care field at Pitt Community College. Equizuel Cortes completed his degrees in construction management and sustainable systems. He will begin working in Raleigh in the construction industry.
