#IMLSmedals
As you may have heard, the Neuse Regional Libraries (NRL) have been selected as a 2022 finalist for the National Medal for Museum and Library Service by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)! This award is the nation’s highest federal honor given to museums and libraries for service to their communities. It is a tremendous honor, and we could not have achieved this incredible recognition without the continued support of our communities. Thank you for making the Neuse Regional Libraries one of the top 15 libraries in America.
On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, IMLS will spotlight the Neuse Regional Libraries as part of the selection process for the National Medal for Museum and Library Service. These social media posts from IMLS will be viewed by a nationwide audience and this an outstanding opportunity to show people across the country how amazing our community is. We invite you to share your own story about a time that you or your family connected with our library and join the conversation with IMLS at www.facebook.com/USIMLS and www.twitter.com/us_imls by using the hashtag #IMLSmedals.
