GEC Alumni Continues Education Pursuits

Press release from Greene County Public Schools:

Makayla Parks, a 2017 Greene Early College graduate, has reached another academic milestone in her life’s journey.  Completing her four- year degree from NCA&T of Greensboro in 2020, she enrolled in East Carolina’s  school counseling education master’s program.  This rigorous program included an internship at A. G. Cox Middle School during 2021-2022.  Celebrating with friends and family at ECU’s graduation this weekend, Makayla concluded the Master’s Program.  Congratulations, Makayla
