Kinston man facing multiple sexual felony charges

Shawn Mayers (51), of Kinston, was already facing possession of firearm by felon charges, felony indecent liberties with child, and misdemeanor sexual battery in Lenoir County.

On June 13, 2022 in Pitt County, Mayers, who owns Mayers Realty in Winterville, was charged with felony solicit prostitution minor, felony second degree forcible rape, felony sex act: sub parent/custodian, and felony incest.
