2023 = Lower Taxes!
North Carolinians have an extra reason to celebrate this new year thanks to another tax cut passed by the General Assembly.
Starting in 2023, you will be able to keep more of your hard earned money when the state personal income tax rate drops to 4.75% - eventually going down to 3.99% in 2027.

2022 Legislative Year in Review
2022 was an historic year in the NC General Assembly. From cutting taxes and upholding public safety, to enhancing infrastructure and improving education, I am honored to share this “year in review” to highlight some of the many victories that we secured during this legislative session. NC Named "State of the Year" (Again!)
Business Facilities magazine has recognized North Carolina as the 2022 "State of the Year" in economic development for the second year in a row. We will continue to work hard in the NC General Assembly to retain our standing as the best place to live, work, and run a business.
