Delta Kappa Gamma recognizes outstanding beginning teachers in their third year

Lenoir County’s Sigma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma recently recognized outstanding beginning teachers in their third year of teaching for the month of October. Congratulations to Melanie Smith, teacher at South Lenoir High School, Will Kelly, teacher at Contentnea-Savannah K-8 School, and Tony Kopanski, teacher at Woodington Middle School for having been chosen by their mentors. Each of these teachers exhibit the qualities of an exceptional educator. They each received a bag filled with a gift card, teaching supplies, as well as a certificate of recognition and a brochure about Delta Kappa Gamma.

Congratulations to John Munoz, teacher at Northeast Elementary School, Haylee Heath, teacher at Kinston High School, and Connor Potter, teacher at Northwest Elementary School for having been chosen by their mentors. Each of these teachers exhibit the qualities of an exceptional educator. They each received a bag filled with a gift card, teaching supplies, as well as a certificate of recognition and a brochure about Delta Kappa Gamma.
