Kinston woman arrested, charged with Abduction of Children
Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:
KPD officers responded to a Kinston residence in reference to an abduction of two juveniles. The juveniles had been previously placed into foster care by DSS and were living with foster parents. The investigation revealed that the juveniles biological mother, Kimberley Westbrooke (34, Greenville, NC), had violated orders and abducted the children from their foster home. Officers were able to locate Westbrooke and the children in Ayden, NC. The children were returned to their foster family and Westbrooke was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Abduction of Children.
