The Lenoir County Farmer’s Market update for October 28, 2023. The Farmer’s Market will be open on Tuesday and Saturday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

There will be a new vendor at the market on Saturday !

LENOIR COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING

 On November 4th, we will host the ladies from the Lenoir County Council on Aging Crochet Group for their annual Fundraiser. Make your Christmas list and come out to support the projects of this most committed group. For more information, call Betsy Griffin at 252 521 2571.

TC SMITH PRODUCE

OPEN ON TUESDAY AND SATURDAY
8am until 2pm
TC Produce will have pickling cucumbers, butternut squash, yellow squash, zucchini, sweet potatoes, boiling peanuts,  rutabagas, mustard, henpeck, turnip greens, beautiful turnips with roots,  mountain apples, and FROZEN-READY TO EAT COLLARDS. The Smiths also have some very fine jams, jellies, pickled veggies, relishes, and the best of all fall butters...apple, pumpkin and sweet potato . Why not try some of their relish on your greens or one of their butters or jellies on your toast? ? It will be a real taste treat.

We will miss having Teri with us this Saturday.  She rarely misses a market. She will return next Saturday with all of her seasonal designs. They are SO cute !

KETTLE STYLE SNACKS

KETTLE STYLE SNACKS  will have pork skins, fried peanuts  and delicious funnel cakes. If you haven't tried one yet, do yourself a favor and "just do it" !
B AND B EGGS AND CRAFTS

B & B Eggs and Crafts will be at the market this Saturday with samples of her "liquid gold" banana nut bread, made with walnuts, roasted almonds, chocolate chips, honey and cinnamon. You'd be really smart to stop by to  have a taste of this delicious concoction.
She will also have fall and Christmas  designed crafts, and those wonderful farm fresh eggs.  If  you have never tasted a really fresh egg, this is the time. You will be able to tell the difference between a freshly laid egg and one that has been sitting around for a while. FRESH WILL WIN ! Sandra will continue to have LOCAL wildflower honey . Try some! ... It is delicious and has all the local pollen that gives it the health benefits related to allergies.
