SITE REDEVELOPMENT

Sealed proposals will be received by the KINSTON HOUSING AUTHORITY for the SIMON BRIGHT SITE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AT NC 004-1 until 3:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2023, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the Site Redevelopment Project. Scope of work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following items:
• Site Improvements
• All other work on plans, in project manual and as required by codes
A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Meeting will be held at 301 East Bright Street, Kinston, NC 28501. A Site Visit will follow.
Contractors may visit the site at other times by contacting Nick Smith, (252) 523-1195 ext. 236 to schedule a visit from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the following dates:
• Thursday - Friday, November 16-17, 2023

All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved.
Contractors will be responsible to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
