Obituary: Brenda “Gail” Reece

Pink Hill- Brenda “Gail” Reece, 64, passed away at UNC Lenoir Health Care on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2pm at Whaley Cemetery, East Pleasant Hill Road, Pink Hill. The family will receive friends following the service at 839 E Pleasant Hill Road, Pink Hill.

Gail was born December 28, 1958, to Ernest “Tom” and Mavis Waters Heath. She attended Lenoir County Schools. Gail worked at Lowes Home Improvement and was a dedicated employee there for the last 12 years. She enjoyed puzzle books and cooking for her family. Gail was known for getting her nails done and keeping them polished with cherry red nail polish. Her son TJ and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved spending time and making memories with her family and making people laugh.

Gail is survived by her lifelong partner, Fred Mills; sisters, Tammy Herring, Lisa Quinn and husband Royce; grandchildren, Brandy, Cameron, Samantha, Gracey, Bentley, Aubrey, Taryn, Kennedy, Zion, and Ella; greatgrandchildren, Ayden, Gio, Addison, and Kaiden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her son, Timothy John “TJ” Reece and her great granddaughter, Emery Rose Greene.
