THANKSGIVING WEEK MARKET HOURS
Market will be open on Tuesday (breakfast bread samples will be served) and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. It will be CLOSED on the Saturday following Thanksgiving Day and will reopen on Tuesday, November 28th
The Lenoir County Farmer’s Market update for November 18, 2023. The Farmer’s Market will be open on Tuesday and Saturday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Please join us for our Annual Super Saturday Event. Get ready for something new this year! In honor of our Rick Holder Annex Kitchen nearing its completion, we are welcoming all of our local bakers and home chefs to the Lenoir County Farmers Market to bring their finest baked goods to sell. Proceeds can go towards your favorite charity, church, youth organization, or your home business. These can be any baked good, cakes, pies, bread cornbread, dressings, tarts, casseroles, the sky is the limit. We also welcome artists and crafters.This will be a one-time special deal. The Community/ Commercial kitchen in the Rick Holder Annex will be open so all may see the progress! TC Produce will have pickling cucumbers, butternut squash, yellow squash, zucchini, sweet potatoes, boiling peanuts, rutabagas, mustard, henpeck, turnip greens, beautiful turnips with roots, mountain apples, and FROZEN-READY TO EAT COLLARDS. The Smiths also have some very fine jams, jellies, pickled veggies, relishes, and the best of all fall butters...apple, pumpkin and sweet potato. Why not try some of their relish on your greens or one of their butters or jellies on your toast? It will be a real taste treat.

B & B Eggs and Crafts will be at the market this Saturday serving samples of her "liquid gold" banana nut bread, made with walnuts, roasted almonds, chocolate chips, honey and cinnamon. Sandra has added a new bread for you to sample ... it is called Reese's Explosion.These breads are really delicious.You should stop by for free samples.
She will also have fall and Christmas designed crafts, and those wonderful farm fresh eggs. If you have never tasted a really fresh egg, this is the time. You will be able to tell the difference between a freshly laid egg and one that has been sitting around for a while. FRESH WILL WIN ! Sandra will continue to have LOCAL wildflower honey . Try some! ... It is delicious and has all the local pollen that gives it the health benefits related to allergies.
