Greene County Sheriffs Dept and US Marshalls arrest Attempted Murder Suspect

US Marshals picked up 40 year old Christopher Michael Caudell in Greenville, NC on 11/29/2023, after Greene County Sheriff's Office Investigators charged him with Attempted Murder.
On 11/20/2023 around 3:20 am Greene County Deputies responded to the Walstonburg area of Greene County off of Bell Rd, in reference to a subject who had been shot. The incident occurred on the roadside and the victim drove to Farmville for EMS to respond. Through evidence and witness statements, Investigators were able to identify and charge Christopher Caudell with Attempted Murder. Caudell is currently being held under a $500,000 secured bond in the Greene County Detention Center. The victim in the case has been treated and released from the hospital.
