NAME CHANGE - Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce
On February 15, 2023, the Kinston-Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce held the 2023 Annual Business Meeting at the CSS Neuse Museum in Kinston, N.C.
At this meeting, following the 20-day notice period to the general membership, a motion was made to make a Constitution Amendment to change the official name of the organization. The purpose of the motion is to make clear to the public the Chamber of Commerce thoroughly and thoughtfully represents all business entities across Lenoir County. The motion carried.
From this day forward, the official name of the Chamber will be the:
LENOIR COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
In the coming weeks and months, a soft rebranding campaign will take place.
The Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce, Inc., is a 501(c)6 non-profit membership organization that works to benefit member businesses to market, network and learn as we advocate and support.
