Obituary: Regina Carol Whaley Stallings

Regina Carol Whaley Stallings, 64, of Seven Springs, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. She was preceded in death by her father, James Whaley, Sr. and brother, Charles Whaley.

Regina was a loving wife of 46 years and a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for more than 35 years and loved sharing her faith and the hope that she had with everyone that would listen. She enjoyed collecting ceramic roosters and cooking for her friends and family. She was loved by all and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Stallings, of the home; mother, Ruby Fields Whaley; daughters, Nicky Hill and husband, Danny, Chelsea Schultz and husband, Zachary, and Jennifer Pittman and husband, Robbie; sons, Tony Stallings, Jr., Danny Stallings and wife, Ashley, and Shane Stallings and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jarett, Austin, Isaiah, Braxton, Michael, Andrew, Shanna, Oliver, Emmilyn, Daniel, and Attikus; great-grandchildren, Mason and Waylon; sisters, Janet Hildreth, Linda Whaley, Elizabeth Whaley, Pamela Balderas, and Ginger Barfield; brothers, James Whaley, Jr., Michael Whaley, and Frances Whaley, along with many other special family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kinston. The family will receive friends at the home following the service, 1261 Whaley Family Road, Seven Springs, North Carolina 28578.
